September has been nothing short of hectic. From showcasing new AI capabilities at a premier fintech event in New York to orchestrating the live streaming for a major music event in Greece, it’s been a month of non-stop action. Here’s a sneak peek into my month, and the fascinating interplay of technology, finance, and entertainment that has made it so memorable.
Finovate Fall 2023: Where Fintech Meets Innovation
A Leap in AI Capabilities
I kicked off the month by flying to New York to participate in the Finovate Fall 2023 event held at the New York Marriott Marquis hotel. We unveiled the new version of our fintech platform, Fintech Insights, with a focus on our game-changing AI capabilities. These new features allow clients to interact with our data using native language queries, offering instant insights. Clients can now ask questions like, “What does my bank do better than another bank?” or “Who has the best implementation of a specific functionality?” and get quick, data-driven answers.
Balancing Work and Leisure
Despite the torrential downpours that swept through the city, I managed to make time for some sightseeing. My expeditions included a trip to the Apple Store (sadly, no new iPhone), a leisurely walk in Central Park, and a visit to the National Museum of History. The only downside was the time constraint; three days in the Big Apple flew by in a blink.

Setting the Stage
Upon returning from New York on September 14, I was immediately immersed in preparations for Amita Motion PED, a major music event featuring multiple Greek artists. Tasked with ensuring seamless live streaming, I conducted technical rehearsals using vMix, OBS, and Restream.io. The cherry on top was setting up Starlink for internet connectivity, ensuring high-speed, low-latency streaming.
